There have been a number of craft-based events at the new Ouseburn Parks visitor centre, connected to Milfield House, including a session for adults making Christmas wreathes and a session for younger visitors making yuletide table decorations and other items.

The new visitor centre has walls adorned with pictorial panels describing the history and wildlife of Jesmond Dene.
